old news, this is, but apparently we are no longer blogging. in which case i am going to need to give a shout out to brittany and also agree to her "continue blogging" theory. i will keep blogging as well. obviously not as often because it is not like i ever really did it when i was supposed to anyway.
well it is like this, occassionly i feel like i need to randomly state my opinion to the world, and so this blog is officially for that purpose. i know that makes me a loser, but it doesn't really matter, because i have a loser friend named brittany who is blogging right along with me. whooo...

blogging early..impressive right?
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,451221,00.html
if you want to read it then go there^
well i found this article through little effort, so whose to say if it is anything worth reading or not, but none the less, here i am still blogging about it.
so there is this old man from Austria who has evidently kept his daughter a prisoner for 24 years, while attempting to raise her 7 children.
recently they have charged him with homicide, because they believe that he abandoned one of the infants.
let us get this straight: he is 70 some years old, and has kept his daughter (now 42) prisoner for 24 years. so one of HIS DAUGHTERS infants ends up dying...hmm...i wonder who the father of that infant was if the mother was never with anyone but her father? EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
i know right? this is sick. sick. sick. sick. sick.
that is all there is to say about this situation.
i am happy because the old nasty has now been charged with like a billion other things and he is for sure going to get in some trouble :)
personally (and this may seem extremely unfair) but i think that they should do to that old man exactly what he did to his poor daughter and grand children. wow i am a horrible person, but this really disturbs me...
let me know what you think
that is all.

Okay...here goes
this is not going to be me blogging about an article (like i am supposed to be doing) and you might not give me credit for it (brandi) but i am going to blog, instead, about something that has been bothering me.
hm.
sooo...i was at church last sunday and my pastor starts going off about how we christians are being too accepting when it comes to the "sin" that surrounds us.
now please do not get me wrong, i love my religion and all, but this just seems EXTREMELY hypocritical. we are all sinful right? of course we are, it's human nature, and it is going to happen no matter how much you try to prevent it. so what i am wondering is what is he really expecting us "christians" to do about the "sin" that surrounds us?
it has came to a point in this world, that you cannot just go around telling people they need to accept jesus christ or they are going to hell. yes, that may have worked a long time ago, but that is because a long time ago people were terrified because of their family's and church's constant pressure to be holy and pure. but nowadays there are WAY too many other things to be afraid of. the last thing people are worrying about is what will happen to them when they die.
i suppose what i am trying to say is that the only way "christians" are ever going to be able to help the lost, is by being accepting. we are never going to reach them any other way.
okay...sorry about that.
that is all.

this is me...wishing i did not have to blog right now.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Phelps
if you want to read it then go there^
this is old news i am aware...but it was recently brought up again and i have nothing better to blog about...so here goes.
so this church...they are crazy right?
i mean does anyone honestly think that they are sane?
they have compeltely brain washed their poor children. even the toddlers enjoy holding up signs that read things like "AMERICA IS GOING TO HELL"
and so what if america is going to hell. does that really need to be promoted?
freedom of speech is one thing...but this is just pushing it a little.
God hates fags? What kind of statement is that? They are making themselves look like idiots. maybe they just want attention...i do not know.
however, i watched interveiws with them once..and the daughter of Fred Philips is PHYSCO!!!
the interveiwer asked her what she considered a "fag" and she said something like...a fag is anyone who sins against God...
WHAT IS THAT?
i am quite sure that is not the definition of "fag"
good try though.
that is all.
if you want to read it then go there^

CHOKE!
okay okay...i am blogging and this is late and i am tired so please do not complain.
http://movies.nytimes.com/2008/09/26/movies/26chok.html
this weeks article is about something fun.
it is about the recently released film CHOKE.
the movie is based off of a book by the author of FIGHT CLUB, Chuck Palahniuk. There is a lot of controversy over the film, but i think that it will be wonderful (when i get to actually watch it). i have read that book and from what i have read from the movie reviews the film sticks relatively close to the acutual novel. this makes me happy, but what does not make me happy is when people get angry over films like this. i mean seriously, it is just a movie. if you do not want to see it then do not, if you do then go see it. no big deal. yeah..it is about sex...so are pornos. who really cares? the only difference is that this one is in movie theaters. which could make some people a little angry, but you are not even allowed into this movie without ID that proves you are at least 18 years of age. so i think that ut is perfectly fine that it is in theaters.
well i must be going.
that is all.

if you want to read it then go there ^
apparently in Simunjan there was a sighting of Jesus. now do not get me wrong...i believe in Jesus and all...but i really do not think that there was any sighting of him. not that it would not be possible but faith is about believeing without seeing, and if Jesus appeared then we would be able to SEE him...which would completely contradict the meaning of FAITH. here is the picture that was taken of "Jesus"...tell me what you think.

do you see jesus? i suppose i can understand where people are coming from with this, but seriously. we do not even know for sure what Jesus looked like, so who are we to go and say that this...apparation...whatever it is...is Jesus.
well...that is what i think anyways.
that is all...
article # 6..i know this is late..
i am very aware that this is extremely late and i hope that you (brandi litteral) will still except it. i had completely forgotten about my blog until about 5 minutes ago.
so, thanks to recent observation of neglected fat children in the woods...i have decided to blog about...well...neglected children.
http://ispcan.org/anniversary/ISPCAN_celebrates_30years.htm
if you want to read it then go there ^
until tuesday and wednesday night i never realized how many children live in our area and are practically neglected by there parents..or whoever takes care of them. these poor kids run around in the chilly night air with paper thin pajama pants and short sleeves on. "where are their parents?" you may be wondering. no where to be found. they do want anything to do with their children. i honestly believe that many of these parents let their children run free in the streets/woods in hopes of haveing them kidnapped.
well then i read these articles that are talking about how the united states has helped all these neglected children in all these other countries and i am thinking.. HELLO!!! RETARDS!!!...neglected children right here *points to fat kid in the woods that ally, lyndz, and i found on tuesday night*. i know, i know. no one wants to hear about this. no one wants to listen to me sit here and say that there are neglected children here in the US that are worse off then some of the children in other countries. i am not one to take pity on people, but i just think that we should worry about our people before we go worrying about others.
selfish? maybe...

this is late...i am aware
http://write.teachingmatters.org/node/1470
if you want to read it then go there^
I have decided, through careful elimination, that i will blog about roller coasters this week. with no help from anyone, this is what i came up with. enjoy.
ally, lyndz, brit, and i are going to king's island this saturday, and in prepartion i thought that it would be best if we learned a little about rollercoaster safety.
after reading this article i realized that people are 100% stupid. take for example this quote, taken directly from the article. " Also, on August 16, 1981 a twenty year old man died from falling off the Rolling Thunder, in Six Flags, not reading the warning sign stating, “Fasten Your Seatbelts.”
Hmmm...if you are on a roller coaster and there are seatbelts on the ride then it probably means you should buckle them! God, people are retarded. i have basically can to the conclusion that if you get killed on a rollercoaster, then you probably did not deserve to live anyway. (haha...watch me die this weekend).
it just seems so dumb to me that people go to amusement parks (which, by the way, are full of rollercoaster) and expect to return home safely, but they do not want to fasten their seatbelt on a ride that travels a billion mph and has 34234 loops. yes...if you do not fasten your seatbelt, then you can expect to be decapitated.
i understand that accidents happen, but there are some ^ of which are avoidable. personally, i like the thrill of a good coaster ever now and again. if you do not like taking that sort of chance then do not ride one...i does not matter to me. but do not try to get amusement parks regulated to the point of taking that thrill away from those who do not care to take the risk. that is like telling a person that they cannot go ski diving if they are perfectly able to go ski diving.
my opinions on matters hold no significance, and i expect that everyone who reads this is going to think that i am stupid for blogging about an issue as ridiculous as this, but as i said before, i needed help to find something to blog about, and when that help did not come through for me i resorted to articles about roller coasters.

article....what does this make? 4? wow.
well i have recently given serious thought to writing my own article somewhere, calling in anonymous, then blogging about the article that i anonymously wrote. i sounded good at the time. however, i am sure that brandi would not appreciate the articles that i write to blog about.
since the current subject of "ghosts" has been a hit amongst some of us...let us find an article about just that.
http://paranormal.about.com/od/ghosthuntinggeninfo/a/aa060704.htm

ghosts are real, i do not care what anyone says, and you cannot convince me other wise. just ask brandi. she currently has one living in her attic. this article was interesting enough. after reading it i am pretty sure that i do not have a ghost in my house. sometimes my cat watches things that are not there, but when i see her doing this i get nervous and usually poke at her so that she will stop. other then that, nothing strange really takes place at my home. my aunt's house is haunted. this is true. two of my cousins have been woken up by their bed shaking furiously, and my aunt has heard footsteps from upstairs when there was nobody there. when i asked my dad (who lived in my aunts house growing up) about this, he said that when they were younger they heard footsteps coming up the stairs every night. being the brave little lad that he was, he would always run to try to see who or what was creeping up the stairs so late at night, but no one was ever there. ever. strange, i know. i do not like to go upstairs. who haunts the house? i could not tell you. i know that i did not answer all the questions that we are supposed to about our articles, but i feel that this is good enough. i am going now.

article # 3
http://www.empoweredparents.com/mini/t12.htm#anchor46
if you want to read it then go there ^
so...for starters, my article this week is about childhood obesity. i understand that this appeals mainly to parents and such, since it's their children and they are responsible and all, but this is one topic that really makes me angry. that is basically why i decided on the article. i enjoy writing about things that make me upset. childhood obesity is not exactly a "new' topic, as most of you are aware, but it is a problem that has been increasing rapidly over the past decade. everything that is in the article is basically common sense and things that we all probably already know, but it is still amazing to look at the reasons and the growth for and of childhood obesity. i am not trying to hurt anybody's feeling with this article. i just think that it is ridiculous the weight gain that is happening in this upcoming generation of children. i do not know how often anyone reading this gets out into the world, but there are some pretty hefty youngsters these days, and it is absolutely disguisting. i do not aprove of it one bit. yeah, take your kids to mcdonalds for a treat every now and then, whatever. but not every freaking day. for God's sake, people think that the only cheap food is fast food and that is not true. if everyone was a little less lazy, they would realize that you can buy plenty of healthier food for cheap. that should not matter anyway. would you rather pay a little more and have a healthy child, or pay a little less and have a child that has a billion health problems and needs to be ran to the emergency room every five seconds? i think the better choice is obvious.
that is all...

blogging aboot my article #2
http://www.nwrel.org/request/feb97/article4.html
if you want to read it then go there^
so, after a long day at school, i was glad to be able to come home and relax. i sat in my room sipping coffee and enjoying some rather delicious cookies, when i suddenly realized that today is thursday. this means blog day. this means my day of relaxing was ruined. i am exagerating. enjoy.
this particular article happens to be about schools that are switching to a four day school week. students and teachers alike, around the world, are probably jumping for joy at the thought of attending school only four days a week, and i suppose it is a rather motivating idea. personally i would enjoy the benefits of this four day school week (and when i say "benefits" i am refering to the lack of schools presence:) and i believe that many of my fellow classmates would also be interested in the subject. we have been discussing and writing about this topic in my english class and considering that i am the world's greatest procrastinator, and put this blog off until the last minute, i decided that this would be the easiest and quickest way to complete my assignment:). after reading the article i realize that there are actually many benefits that come from shortening the school week. more time in class allows for more time to complete assignments and even one on one time to learn. i am curious to know if our school has given any thought to the matter? oh how i would enjoy a nice four day school week....
that is all.

well...personally...i think that barack obama is pretty rad (although brandi would disagree). pretty much i think that this article, and people in general are kind of blowing things out of proportion when it comes to obama. i mean seriously, he's just a guy running for president. if you pass out while he is giving a speech...then i don't know...maybe you should go see a doctor. after all, there are a lot of people who pass out occasionally and you never know when something serious could be wrong, so you may want to look into that. i'm just saying. and did anyone ever stop to think that maybe when someone refers to him as being a "savior" they are not actually implying that he is like Jesus or anyone, but rather that america has dug itself into such a crap hole that it may just take someone worthy of being referred to as a "savior" to pull it back out. this is just what i think, and what i think really does not matter or make a difference. however, if you (brandi litteral) leave some kind of sarcastic remark on here and tell me that i am stupid then i will have to drop kick you in the face :)
